SHOSHANAH MESSIANIC BIBLE STUDY SUMMER SCHOOL

Camp Shoshanah is a Conference, Retreat and Bible Study facility for believers in Jesus the Messiah, located on over 400 acres in the scenic Adirondack Mountains of northern New York State. We are part of Ariel Ministries.  Ariel is a Messianic Jewish outreach ministry, sharing the Good News of Messiah Jesus with the Jewish people and with all who will hear, discipling those who come to faith and training believers.
Each summer since 1973 we have conducted a 3 week intensive Messianic Bible Institute Discipleship Program, taught by our director Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum and other skilled Bible Teachers. Over the years many Jewish believers & leaders in the Messianic Movement have taught here including Dr. Louis Goldberg, Barney Kasdan, Dr. Michael Rydelnik, Steven Ger, Sam Nadler, Dr. Mitch Glaser, Dr. Barry Leventhal, Mottel Baleston, Dr. Greg Hagg, J. Isaac Gabizon, Robert Morris, Gary Derechinsky, Louis Lapides, Jeff Gutterman, Michael Gabizon, John Kanter, Richard Hill and several others.

The daily schedule includes 3 hours of classes in the morning, 2 hours in the evening, with the afternoon free for recreation. All meals are in our Dining Hall. You may attend Camp for one, two, or all three weeks. The entire set of courses we offer is fully covered during a cycle of five summers. You may begin at any time. Many thousands of believers, both Jewish and Gentile, as well as scores of Leaders in the Messianic Movement have taken & benefited from this course.

All are invited to learn the scriptures with us. We welcome both those who are Jewish & those who are not, people who have studied the scriptures for many years and those who are new. Singles, couples & families with children attend as there are separate programs for kids & teens, with all coming together for meals and the times of worship & community events. Many 'home school' families have attended over the years. Those who've been here have likened the experience to a "summer kibbutz" or a "Messianic Camp Meeting". See full Camp Shoshanah pdf download on the Ariel.org website and call the Camp directly to check the specific week your family is thinking about attending. In addition to the classic 3 week school, a 2 week program has been offered during the second & third weeks of July, offering a different line-up of classes as well as a 4 class daily schedule, compared to the 5 classes during the 3 week program. The latest addition is a one week complete course on the "Life of Messiah from a Jewish Perspective" in mid-August.

Each of the Bible Study classes begins with Messianic Jewish praise music with lyrics in Hebrew and English. Praise & Israeli Folk dancing is regularly enjoyed, and a snack shop satisfies your desire for a nosh. Each week of the Bible Study Camp ends with a traditional and festive Jewish Shabbat Dinner. The Camp is located on a lake in a scenic valley in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State with our own sandy beach, recreation on-premises and even more options nearby. Housing includes rustic family cabins and modern dorms, with RV 'hook-ups' available.
