Messianic Camp Shoshanah in the Adirondack Mountains

Camp Shoshanah is a Conference, Retreat and Bible Study facility for believers in Jesus the Messiah, located on over 200 acres in the scenic Adirondack Mountains of northern New York State. We are part of Ariel Ministries. Ariel is a Messianic Jewish outreach ministry, sharing the Good News of Messiah Jesus with the Jewish people and with all who will hear, discipling those who come to faith and training believers.

Each summer since 1973 we have conducted a 3 week intensive Messianic Bible Study Family Camp, taught by our director Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum and other skilled Bible Teachers. Over the years many Jewish believers & leaders in the Messianic Movement have taught at Camp including Dr. Louis Goldberg, Barney Kasdan, Dr. Michael Rydelnik, Steven Ger, Sam Nadler, Dr. Mitch Glaser, Robert Morris, Dr. Barry Leventhal, Mottel Baleston, Dr. Greg Hagg, Louis Lapides, Gary Derechinsky and many others.

The daily schedule includes 3 hours of classes in the morning, 2 hours in the evening, with the afternoon free for recreation. You may attend Camp for one, two, or all three weeks. The entire set of courses we offer is fully covered during a cycle of five summers. You may begin at any time. A certificate is given to those completing the 5 year cycle with a minimum 2 weeks each summer. The following courses are offered during each 5 year period:

The Book of Isaiah, The Book of Proverbs, The Feasts of Israel, Jewish History, The Book of Jeremiah, Zionism and the History of Israel, The Spiritual Life, Bible Study Methods, Eschatology: Study of the Last Days, The Book of Ezekiel, The Book of Acts, Ecclesiology: The Study of the Congregation of Believers, Israelology: The Study of the Doctrine of Israel in the Scriptures, The Book of Daniel, Holocaust: History & Theology, The Book of Galatians, Design for Discipleship, The Messianic Jewish Epistles, Rabbinic & Messianic Views of Messianic Prophecy, Ministries and Gifts of the Holy Spirit, The Minor Prophets, Messianic Jewish History, Jewish Family Life, The Plan of the Ages, Messianic Jewish Theology, The Covenants of the Bible.

In addition, each year Dr. Fruchtenbaum teaches his well known course: "The Life of the Messiah from a Jewish Perspective", which gives students a comprehensive understanding of the Jewishness of Messiah Jesus. Many thousands of believers, both Jewish and Gentile, as well as scores of Leaders in the Messianic Movement have taken & benefited from this course.

Each of the Bible Study classes begins with Messianic Jewish praise music with lyrics in Hebrew and English. Praise & Israeli Folk dancing is regularly enjoyed, and a snack shop satisfies your desire for a nosh. Each week of the Messianic Bible Study Camp ends with a traditional and festive Jewish Shabbat Dinner. The Camp is located on a lake in a scenic valley in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State with recreation nearby. Housing includes rustic family cabins and dorms, with RV 'hook-ups' available.
